Spec Furniture

Spec’s bedside cabinets and casegoods are designed for patient rooms and healthcare facilities. Built for durability and infection control, they feature easy-to-clean surfaces in laminate or thermofoil and surfaces that stand up to daily hospital use. The collection offers multiple drawer configurations and secure storage to fit varied workflows.

BASE CONSTRUCTION

All Models:
  • Constructed of 3/4" particle board (Phase 2 CARB compliant) core, covered in melamine.
  • Core is made with 100% recycled material and manufactured in an FSC Certified facility.
  • Premium cam lock fasteners with additional dowel supports.
  • Legs and casters are fastened with machine bolts into threaded steel inserts.
Model with Floating Top (TBCAB-F):
  • 1 1/8" diameter post bolted to the top of the cabinet and underside of the floating top. Post height: 4 inches.

TOP CONSTRUCTION

Laminate:
  • 1" particle board (Phase 2 CARB compliant) core, covered with 1/16" high-pressure plastic laminate sheet (top) and plastic laminate backing sheet (bottom).
  • Sandwich top thickness: 1 1/8".
  • Core is made with 100% recycled material and manufactured in an FSC Certified facility.
  • Top density: 39 pounds per sq. in.
Melamine Drawer Fronts:
  • 3/4" particle board (Phase 2 CARB compliant) core, covered in melamine.
  • Core is made with 100% recycled material and manufactured in an FSC Certified facility.
  • Doors feature high-quality 120-degree hinges.
  • Drawer slides: all steel, powder-coated and finished on both sides.
  • Drawer faces attached with superior metal fixing brackets.
Thermofoil Tops & Drawer Fronts:
  • Thermofoil is a flexible, 100% solid-colored vinyl vacuum-formed to the product shape with adhesive on its underside.
  • Doors feature high-quality 120-degree hinges.
  • Drawer slides: all steel, powder-coated and finished on both sides.
  • Drawer faces attached with superior metal fixing brackets.

EDGE CONSTRUCTION

  • Edges are made from high-impact laminate.

Delivery & Returns

RETURNS: All contract furniture is made to order and cannot be returned for a refund. Simplova may approve some items for return but will be subject to a restocking fee.

CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS: Orders that have been scheduled for production may not be changed. All changes including reconsignments to orders previously acknowledged must be requested in writing and are subject to approval. Requests for changes are not deemed accepted until confirmed by the manufacturer. In the event a revision is accepted, change fees may apply.

DELIVERIES BY COURIER/COMMON CARRIER & FREIGHT CLAIMS: The buyer, or buyer's representative, must be present at the time of delivery of the product to sign for and acknowledge correctness of the count and condition of the product being delivered. In the event of shortage or damage of product delivered by a common carrier other than Simplova, the Buyer will be required to file the appropriate claim with that carrier and will hold Simplova harmless from this claim.
