Spec Furniture

Docker Customizable Work Bench combines solid wood tops with a steel A-frame and modular finishes to create adaptable workstations for modern offices, studios, and healthcare spaces.

Available finishes include 34 Spectone colors, 18 wood stains, or premium laminates from Wilsonart, Nevamar, Formica, and more. Designed for collaboration, these tables offer durability, ergonomic stability, and easy maintenance.

  • Durable & ergonomic: Sturdy A-frame base, adjustable leveling glides, and an option for integrated wire management to keep cables tidy.
  • Healthcare-ready: Hygienic surfaces with high-pressure laminate or bio-based edges for easy cleaning in clinics and patient rooms.
  • Fully customizable: Choose 1-3/4 inch solid wood tops, add footrails, bag hooks, and casters for mobility and utility.
  • Eco-friendly materials: ULEF particleboard, FSC-certified wood, and PVC-free Bio Edge edges.

Knocked-down shipping enables straightforward assembly, while modular features support evolving spaces—from open offices to design studios and healthcare consultation rooms.

BASE CONSTRUCTION

  • Material: Fully welded, laser-cut steel tube-and-plate upper frame with solid maple wooden legs.

Additional Features:

  • Adjustable levelers included as standard.
  • Maple legs finished with water-based, UV-cured stain.
  • Steel components protected with powder coat paint.
  • Optional footrests with hidden fasteners.
  • Optional CNC routered, solid wood power management leg available for all table sizes.

TOP CONSTRUCTION

Table Top Core (1"):

  • Material: Nu-Green 2, ULEF (Ultra Low Emission Formaldehyde) raw particleboard core.
  • Density: 39 pounds per cu. ft.
  • Sustainability: Made from 100% pre-consumer recycled or recovered wood fiber, manufactured in an FSC Certified facility.

High Pressure Laminate:

  • Thickness: 1/16" with plastic laminate backing.
  • Bonding: Water-based glue.
  • Total Top Thickness: Approximately 1-1/8".

Veneer:

  • Thickness: 1/32" hand-laid flat cut veneer.
  • Bonding: Water-based glue.
  • Total Top Thickness: Approximately 1-1/16".
  • Quality: Veneers selected for grain matching and symmetry.

EDGE CONSTRUCTION

  • Self (SE): Refer to manufacturer technical sheet for chosen laminate.

PVC (PVF, 2MM):

  • Material: PVC pellet material, melted and extruded.
  • Options: 2mm flat profiles with wood grain print or tongue & groove flat profile in 38 solid colors.
  • Bonding: Water-based glue.

Bio (2MM):

  • Material: PVC-free, 88% bio-based resin blend.
  • Features: Virtually pick-proof edge, impact durability comparable to PVC.
  • Options: Available in 38 solid colors.
  • Bonding: Water-based glue.

Hardwood:

  • Process: Segmented, glued with water-based glue, clamped for tight bond, machined, and hand-planed.
  • Finish: Corners minered and pencil radiused, sealed, stained, and lacquered.

Exposed Baltic Birch:

  • Material: Baltic Birch plywood with 100% birch veneer sheets.
  • Compatibility: Available with high-pressure laminate tops only (total thickness approximately 1-1/8").
  • Process: Routered for uniform profile, sealed, stained, and lacquered.

  • ANSI/BIFMA X5.5 Desk/Table Products.

Delivery & Returns

RETURNS: All contract furniture is made to order and cannot be returned for a refund. Simplova may approve some items for return but will be subject to a restocking fee.

CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS: Orders that have been scheduled for production may not be changed. All changes including reconsignments to orders previously acknowledged must be requested in writing and are subject to approval. Requests for changes are not deemed accepted until confirmed by the manufacturer. In the event a revision is accepted, change fees may apply.

DELIVERIES BY COURIER/COMMON CARRIER & FREIGHT CLAIMS: The buyer, or buyer's representative, must be present at the time of delivery of the product to sign for and acknowledge correctness of the count and condition of the product being delivered. In the event of shortage or damage of product delivered by a common carrier other than Simplova, the Buyer will be required to file the appropriate claim with that carrier and will hold Simplova harmless from this claim.
