STANDARD FEATURES

Four-leg and sled base side chairs
• Chairs and stools are available with or without arms
• Side and back cleanout gaps
• Single piece back with small shroud covering attachment points
• Underseat plastic shroud
• Standard glides are dome shaped


• Four-leg chairs with upholstered seat and back, bariatric, stack up to six high on the floor or up to 8 high on a dolly (Dolly: WDOL30)

OPTIONAL FEATURES

Upholstery is available any healthcare textile (or standard Global textile, if healthcare compliance is not required)
• 17 plastic colors are available for seat, back, seat shroud, back shroud and arms. For applicable models, seat, back, and back shroud color can be specified separately. Seat shroud will always match the seat color. Arms will always match the back shroud color
• Metal frame is available in 20 Sandtex paint finishes.
Four plated metal finishes are also available
• Moisture barrier option (on seat only)
• Added weight options are available.


• Armchairs are available with two arm shapes:
• Waterfall arms: feature a sloped front
• Grip assist arms: feature a higher, squared-off arm which can assist users in getting into/out of seating

• Five glide options are available on four leg models:
• Colored, dome shaped, nylon glides are recommended for most flooring (available in Black or Sand color)
• White, non-marking, dome shaped, nylon glides are recommended for most flooring
• Glides with stainless steel pads are recommended for carpet or rubber flooring
• Glides with felt pads are recommended for vinyl, cork or laminate flooring
• Glides with rubber pads are non-slip. They are recommended for vinyl, hardwood, laminate, stone or ceramic flooring


• Floor mounting option is available for sled base models
 

Infection Control
• No Velcro on seat. Underside of seat is covered by a plastic shroud
• Seamless seat. Seam sealing option is available for upholstered back models
• Moisture barrier option (on seat only)
• Replaceable seat and back
• For proper cleaning and disinfecting practices, the textile selection needs to be identified. It is vital that following any chemical application a clear water wipe down occur to avoid chemical build up that will lead to deterioration of the textile. Contact Global should information on using a specific disinfectant be required

Construction (Chair Frame)
• Welded steel frame
• 1 in (25 mm) diameter steel tube, 13 gauge

Stool Frame includes a welded footrest bar

• Hip chairs include a flat steel footrest surface, welded to the lower frame. Height from floor: 6.5 in (165 mm)

Construction (Seat and Back)
• Seat and back pans are nylon, 0.5 in (13 mm) thick
• Metal inserts provide metal-to-metal connections with chair frame
• Plastic underseat shroud and back shroud

• Nylon arms
• Forward grip arms extend to the front edge of seat

Upholstery
• Seat and back (as applicable, for upholstered models) can be upholstered in fabric, coated textiles or leather
Foam

• 1 in (25 mm) thick molded seat foam
MODELS: W5_U__, W6_U_, W#24AU_, W#30UU
• 0.75 in (19 mm) thick molded back foam

Weight Capacity

• All bariatric models are designed for an active weight capacity of 600 lbs.
Warranty

All bariatric models are covered by heavy duty warranty:
• Warranty covers applies to 24/7 usage
• 5 year warranty on foam and textiles (a textile with durability rating of 100,000 or more double rubs must be selected)
• 12 year warranty on all other parts
Fire Rating
All foam and textiles are tested and certified, meeting
California Technical Bulletin 117 (CAL TB 117-2013)
standards.
