MATERIALS BREAKDOWN

BASE CONSTRUCTION

  • Column uprights and feet are constructed of 14 gauge seam-welded steel square tube (column: 2.0").
  • Base: 3/8" plate steel with chamfered edge.
  • Mounting plate: Solid steel, 3/8" thick, 9" x 9", welded to the top of the column.
  • Fastening: Drilled to accept 8 #12 - 7/8" deep threaded wood screws.
  • Levelers: 5/6"-18 screw-threaded.

TOP CONSTRUCTION
TABLE TOP CORE - 1"

  • Material: Nu-Green 2, ULEF (Ultra Low Emission Formaldehyde) raw particleboard core.
  • Core composition: 100% pre-consumer recycled or recovered wood fiber.
  • Manufacturing: FSC Certified facility.
  • Density: 39 pounds per cu. ft.

HIGH PRESSURE LAMINATE

  • Thickness: 1/16" high-pressure laminate sheet with plastic laminate backing.
  • Bonding: Water-based glue.
  • Total top thickness: Approximately 1-1/8".

EDGE CONSTRUCTION
SELF (SE)

  • Refer to manufacturer technical sheet for chosen laminate.

PVC (2MM)

  • Material: PVC pellet.
  • Application: Applied to table core using water-based glue.
  • Options: Available in wood grain print.

Bio (2MM)

  • Material: PVC-free, 88% bio-based resin blend.
  • Features: Proprietary edge product, impact durability of PVC without added chemicals.
  • Application: Adhered to core material using water-based glue.
  • Finishing: "State-of-the-art" edge banding process for pick-proof edge.
  • Options: Available in 38 solid colors.

Delivery & Returns

RETURNS: All contract furniture is made to order and cannot be returned for a refund. Simplova may approve some items for return but will be subject to a restocking fee.

CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS: Orders that have been scheduled for production may not be changed. All changes including reconsignments to orders previously acknowledged must be requested in writing and are subject to approval. Requests for changes are not deemed accepted until confirmed by the manufacturer. In the event a revision is accepted, change fees may apply.

DELIVERIES BY COURIER/COMMON CARRIER & FREIGHT CLAIMS: The buyer, or buyer's representative, must be present at the time of delivery of the product to sign for and acknowledge correctness of the count and condition of the product being delivered. In the event of shortage or damage of product delivered by a common carrier other than Simplova, the Buyer will be required to file the appropriate claim with that carrier and will hold Simplova harmless from this claim.
