Spec Furniture

The SPEC Traffic Dining heavy-duty fixed table and chair set is designed for high-traffic spaces such as hospitals, clinics, cafeterias, waiting areas, and public lounges. ANSI/BIFMA X5.4 and X5.5 certified, it blends durability with safety in a single, space-efficient configuration. The seam-welded tubular steel frame supports up to 500 lb for reliable everyday use.

  • Industrial-strength construction: 11-gauge perforated steel seats, 3/16" steel uprights, and a 4" reinforced base for superior stability.
  • Seating options: 22" standard seat or 30" bariatric width for enhanced comfort and accessibility.
  • Customization: 76 Spectone base colors and 38 Spectone Bio Edge options to complement any interior.
  • Safety and long‑lasting installation: tamper-proof fasteners, fire‑resistant materials, and floor-mounting plates.
  • Tabletops: 30" x 48" options in coated steel or laminate with PVC edges.

Optional upholstered cushions add comfort in high‑traffic environments. Welded end caps and metal‑to‑metal seat brackets ensure decades of reliable use. Finishes are scratch‑resistant and easy to clean, supporting maintenance in medical facilities, airports, corporate cafeterias, schools, and public venues. Specifications

FRAME

The main beam is constructed of 2-1/2" O.D. 11
gauge seam-welded tubular steel. “H” style tapered uprights (3” to 2 1/2”) are constructed of 3/16" steel, notched to nest to the beam, welded in place, then ground and polished to a smooth surface finish. The  foot is a 4” wide, 3/16” thick welded steel assembly mechanically fastened to the “H” section upright with nylon hex nuts and plated ¼-20 carriage bolts.

SEAT AND BACK CONSTRUCTION

SEAT & BACK PERFORATED Perforated steel seat is
constructed of 11 gauge formed steel punched to a 1” centered pattern.
Connections are welded in place and the seat bracket is metal to metal.

Delivery & Returns

RETURNS: All contract furniture is made to order and cannot be returned for a refund. Simplova may approve some items for return but will be subject to a restocking fee.

CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS: Orders that have been scheduled for production may not be changed. All changes including reconsignments to orders previously acknowledged must be requested in writing and are subject to approval. Requests for changes are not deemed accepted until confirmed by the manufacturer. In the event a revision is accepted, change fees may apply.

DELIVERIES BY COURIER/COMMON CARRIER & FREIGHT CLAIMS: The buyer, or buyer's representative, must be present at the time of delivery of the product to sign for and acknowledge correctness of the count and condition of the product being delivered. In the event of shortage or damage of product delivered by a common carrier other than Simplova, the Buyer will be required to file the appropriate claim with that carrier and will hold Simplova harmless from this claim.
