MANHATTAN Specification Sheet

BASE CONSTRUCTION (T, C, T2, X, X4)

  • Column Uprights: 2" round or 2"x4" rectangle, constructed of 14 gauge seam-welded steel tube.
  • Feet: ¼" thick solid steel plate formed to shape, supported by a 3/16" thick vertical steel web. Welded under the foot for no visible welds at eye level.
  • Mounting: Solid steel plate welded to the top of the column, fastened to the table top.
  • Finish: Feet include leveling glides.

TOP CONSTRUCTION

  • Table Top Core (1"): Nu-Green 2, ULEF raw particleboard core. Made with 100% pre-consumer recycled or recovered wood fiber. FSC Certified. Density: 39 lbs/cu. ft.
  • High-Pressure Laminate: 1/16" thickness with plastic laminate backing, bonded with water-based glue. Total top thickness: ~1-1/8".
  • Veneer: 1/32" hand-laid flat cut veneer, bonded with water-based glue. Total top thickness: ~1-1/16". Grain matching and symmetry emphasized.

EDGE CONSTRUCTION

  • Self (SE): Refer to manufacturer technical sheet for chosen laminate.
  • PVC (PVF, 2MM): Made from PVC pellet material extruded into flat (2MM) or tongue & groove (PVF) profiles. Available in 38 solid colors. Applied with water-based glue.
  • Bio (2MM): PVC-free, 88% bio-based resin blend. Applied using state-of-the-art edge banding. Impact durability comparable to PVC. Available in 38 solid colors.
  • Hardwood: Segmented, glued with water-based glue, clamped, machined, and hand-planed to match tabletop thickness. Corners mitered, pencil radiused, sealed, stained, and lacquered.
  • Exposed Baltic Birch: Baltic Birch plywood core (100% birch veneer sheets). Available with high-pressure laminate tops only (~1-1/8" thickness). Edges rothered, sealed, stained, and lacquered.

BASE CONSTRUCTION (MNTN/WM-FR)

  • Column Uprights: Seam-welded steel tube, 2.3522" (60 mm) x 3.93701" (100 mm). Compact 3-part inline column design.
  • Feet: Levelers or casters threaded into solid ½" DIA steel machined stud (5/16"-18 threads). Electrical cord: 11 ft long.
  • Height Range: 24" to 42" (with leveling glides) or 26" to 44" (with casters).

  • Same as standard MANHATTAN table (see above).

EDGE CONSTRUCTION

  • Same as standard MANHATTAN table (see above).

Delivery & Returns

RETURNS: All contract furniture is made to order and cannot be returned for a refund. Simplova may approve some items for return but will be subject to a restocking fee.

CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS: Orders that have been scheduled for production may not be changed. All changes including reconsignments to orders previously acknowledged must be requested in writing and are subject to approval. Requests for changes are not deemed accepted until confirmed by the manufacturer. In the event a revision is accepted, change fees may apply.

DELIVERIES BY COURIER/COMMON CARRIER & FREIGHT CLAIMS: The buyer, or buyer's representative, must be present at the time of delivery of the product to sign for and acknowledge correctness of the count and condition of the product being delivered. In the event of shortage or damage of product delivered by a common carrier other than Simplova, the Buyer will be required to file the appropriate claim with that carrier and will hold Simplova harmless from this claim.
