Spec Furniture

The Latch Shelving system offers professional storage tailored for healthcare and hospitality spaces. Built from 1.25" seam-welded steel tubing with a tough powder-coated finish, it stands up to high-traffic areas such as patient rooms, labs, med rooms, and staff spaces.

  • Frame and mounting: hidden levelers and welded steel floor mounting tabs provide secure placement on varied floors.
  • Shelves: 3/4" Nu-Green 2 ULEF particleboard with 100% pre-consumer recycled wood fiber.
  • Finish customization: 76 Spectone base colors, 38 edgeband options, and PVC-free 2mm Bio edge.
  • Size and compatibility: lengths from 33" to 151.5"; designed to connect with Latch tables (30" and 42" high).
  • Laminate options: no-cost Wilsonart, Nevamar, Formica, Arborite, or Pionite laminates.
  • Sustainability and assembly: FSC-certified production, low-emission materials; ships knocked down for easy assembly.

Ideal for hospitals, clinics, labs, and hospitality spaces, the Latch Shelving combines strength, modularity, and smart storage to fit exact needs.

LATCH SHELVING UNIT

BASE CONSTRUCTION (LCHBK)

  • Material: 1.25" seam-welded steel tubing (end and middle frames), 1" x 3" seam-welded steel tubing (base), powder-coated finish.
  • Features: Hidden levelers, floor mounting tabs, 3/4" steel tube connecting rails on both sides.
  • Shipping: Knocked down.

SHELVING CONSTRUCTION

  • Laminate: 3/4" Nu-Green 2 ULEF particleboard core (100% pre-consumer recycled/recovered wood fiber, FSC Certified), 1/16" high-pressure laminate, total thickness ~7/8".
  • Shelves: 3/4" thick, upper shelves laminated on both sides, bottom shelves laminated on top only.

EDGE CONSTRUCTION
Same as Latch Tables (PVC and Bio options).

  • Standard lead time! Typically ships within 4-6 weeks.
Delivery & Returns

RETURNS: All contract furniture is made to order and cannot be returned for a refund. Simplova may approve some items for return but will be subject to a restocking fee.

CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS: Orders that have been scheduled for production may not be changed. All changes including reconsignments to orders previously acknowledged must be requested in writing and are subject to approval. Requests for changes are not deemed accepted until confirmed by the manufacturer. In the event a revision is accepted, change fees may apply.

DELIVERIES BY COURIER/COMMON CARRIER & FREIGHT CLAIMS: The buyer, or buyer's representative, must be present at the time of delivery of the product to sign for and acknowledge correctness of the count and condition of the product being delivered. In the event of shortage or damage of product delivered by a common carrier other than Simplova, the Buyer will be required to file the appropriate claim with that carrier and will hold Simplova harmless from this claim.
