Spec Furniture

SPEC Hospitality Carts offer a durable, mobile solution for hosting, serving, and organizing in boardrooms, hotels, and event spaces. Built for frequent use, these carts blend a sleek profile with robust construction and flexible storage.

  • Sleek, sturdy design with 15+ laminates or premium options (Wilsonart, Nevamar, Formica, Arborite, Pionite) at no extra cost.
  • Effortless mobility featuring stainless steel side handles and locking casters for stability.
  • Customizable storage includes two open fixed shelves and an optional integrated garbage bin pull-out.
  • Premium finishes include 9 standard veneer stains or stain-to-match for a cohesive look.
  • Flexible dimensions offer widths of 30", 36", and 42", with a standard 36" height.
  • Drawer and door configurations are available to tailor organization.
  • Optional upgrades include locking mechanisms, rear ventilation holes, a 20" depth option, and touch latch or handle options (straight, arc, or edge).

Ideal for corporate offices, conference rooms, hotels, restaurants, event venues, and coworking spaces. Standard customizations are included at no extra charge.

MATERIALS BREAKDOWN

BASE CONSTRUCTION (ALL MODELS)

  • Constructed of 3/4" NAUF (no added urea-formaldehyde) particle board (Phase 2 CARB compliant) core.
  • Board is covered in either plastic laminate (both sides) or flat cut veneer (both sides).
  • Core is made with 100% recycled material and manufactured in an FSC Certified facility.
  • Laid up board is cut to fit outside dimensions of the cabinet and joined using cam and pin.
  • Doors feature high-quality 120-degree hinges and touch latch mechanisms.

TOP CONSTRUCTION

LAMINATE

  • Constructed of 3/4" NAUF particle board core.
  • Covered and bonded with water-based glue to a 1/16" high-pressure plastic laminate sheet on both sides.
  • Sandwich top thickness: 1 1/8".
  • Core is made with 100% recycled material and manufactured in an FSC Certified facility.

VENEER TOPS

  • Constructed of 3/4" NAUF particle board core.
  • Covered and bonded with water-based glue to a 1/32" hand-laid flat cut veneer on top and bottom.
  • Sandwich top thickness: 1 1/16".
  • Veneers are selected for grain matching and symmetry.

FEET CONSTRUCTION

CASTERS

  • Swivel casters with brake.
  • Twin-wheel design with durable polyamide center.
  • Polyurethane thread for reduced noise.
  • Precision ball bearings secured with a steel-plated stem.

CERTIFICATION

Delivery & Returns

RETURNS: All contract furniture is made to order and cannot be returned for a refund. Simplova may approve some items for return but will be subject to a restocking fee.

CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS: Orders that have been scheduled for production may not be changed. All changes including reconsignments to orders previously acknowledged must be requested in writing and are subject to approval. Requests for changes are not deemed accepted until confirmed by the manufacturer. In the event a revision is accepted, change fees may apply.

DELIVERIES BY COURIER/COMMON CARRIER & FREIGHT CLAIMS: The buyer, or buyer's representative, must be present at the time of delivery of the product to sign for and acknowledge correctness of the count and condition of the product being delivered. In the event of shortage or damage of product delivered by a common carrier other than Simplova, the Buyer will be required to file the appropriate claim with that carrier and will hold Simplova harmless from this claim.
