STANDARD FEATURES

Strand is the perfect synthesis of versatility, comfort, durability and value pricing. Strand offers a pleasing look in a diverse range of solutions from single patient room chairs to waiting areas and public spaces.

All models are standard in oval metal tube frame.

     
Frame available in Black(TBLI), Cloud(TIV), Designer White (TDW), Fog (TF0), Frost(TFR), Kalua(TKA), Latte(TLA), Mocha(TMOI), Nevada (TNEI), Sand (TSN), Shadow(TSH), Toast(TOA) and Tungsten (TTU). Please specify.

     
The frame can be weighted and made with tamperproof fasteners for greater security in more challenging mental health spaces or correctional facilities. Request a special quote.  

Armcaps are standard in Black methane (urethane).

Left and right position reference is determined from the seated position.

The seat and back are removable and field replaceable.   
For added comfort, seats are standard with high density Ultracell foam.

  
All seat frames feature a wall saver design to prevent back contact with wall. Footstool and benches do not have wall saver legs.

Standard seat height on all models is 18".

Clean out space is provided between the seat and back cushions for easy housekeeping.

Standard with Black plastic glides.

Select models are offered with rear tip and move wheels. To activate wheels, tilt the chair back so the casters are in contact with the floor. This feature makes it easy to relocate the chair while unoccupied.

Flex back models allow the back to move in a soothing rocking motion.

Active weight capacity for standard single seat is 350 lbs. and 750 lbs. for bariatric seating.

Can be upholstered in standard Global textiles if healthcare compliance is not required.

OPTIONAL FEATURES

The seat cushion is slightly inclined to enhance comfort. An optional flat seat cushion is available.

Wood armcaps are available in all Seating wood finishes.

Non-marking White glides are available. Please specify (WH). No upcharge.

For moisture barrier on seat, please specify (MB).

For improved housekeeping and infection control practices, please add (SU) to model number. The underside of the seat will be finished with vinyl and sealed to prevent penetration of liquids.
