Specifications

STANDARD FEATURES

• Desmond HT is a metal framed chair with residential design while ensuring maximum strength and durability within very challenging applications.

• Available with four-legged metal welded frame with or without arms; with rear casters that allow the caregiver to tip and move chair without lifting; with lift mechanism and rear casters to assist the caregiver in turning the chair and moving the occupant to and from a table; or a bariatric model.

• Models with rear casters also allow the caregiver to turn the chair with occupant seated for better access to wheelchair or walker.

• The welded metal frame, welded cross rails on lower frame, metal-to-metal fasteners on seat pan, back insert and urethane armcaps enhance strength and durability, ensuring its performance in the most rigorous environments.

• Urethane armcaps are comfortable, durable, cleanable and replaceable. Designed to offer proper support while seated and the egress grip allows the occupant to use with confidence when getting in or out of the chair.

• For added comfort and long term performance the seat cushion is standard with high density Ultracell foam.

• The underside of the seat pan is moisture resistant, and the cushions have no exposed seams to support improved housekeeping and infection prevention practices.

• Can be upholstered in standard Global textiles if Healthcare compliance is not required.

• Shipped fully assembled.

RETURNS: All contract furniture is made to order and cannot be returned for a refund. Simplova may approve some items for return but will be subject to a restocking fee.

CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS: Orders that have been scheduled for production may not be changed. All changes including reconsignments to orders previously acknowledged must be requested in writing and are subject to approval. Requests for changes are not deemed accepted until confirmed by the manufacturer. In the event a revision is accepted, change fees may apply.

DELIVERIES BY COURIER/COMMON CARRIER & FREIGHT CLAIMS: The buyer, or buyer's representative, must be present at the time of delivery of the product to sign for and acknowledge correctness of the count and condition of the product being delivered. In the event of shortage or damage of product delivered by a common carrier other than Simplova, the Buyer will be required to file the appropriate claim with that carrier and will hold Simplova harmless from this claim.
