Compile incorporates the latest technology and design features to provide excellent performance at a competitive price. It supports environmental ratings like LEED and Greenguard, offering functional, attractive, and eco-friendly office designs. Global Contract leads in reducing waste during manufacturing and utilizes recycled materials extensively, including recycled plastic and wood waste from other Global factories. We are committed to continuous improvement of our environmental systems, pollution prevention, and compliance with all relevant environmental legislation.

Components - Worksurfaces

  • Compile thermally fused worksurfaces are 1" thick with 3 mm PVC edging on all sides.
  • Pilot holes enable proper alignment with worksurface supports.
  • Most standard laminate offerings are available in thermally-fused. See laminate listings for details.
  • Wood grain laminates on corner worksurfaces up to 42" can have laminate running diagonally at an upcharge; otherwise, standard horizontal application is used.
  • Most wood grain laminate worksurfaces include matching woodgrain trim unless specified otherwise.
  • Worksurface scoops have a depth of 1 1/8" when measured from the attached panel.
  • All worksurfaces require support items, priced separately.
  • Grain direction for worksurfaces: Communication and electrical wires are routed through a cable scoop at the back. For Straight (CWS) or Curvilinear (CWVL) worksurfaces, the number of cable scoops depends on the width. All other shapes have one scoop on panel edges.
  • Compile panels are 82.3% recyclable at end of lifespan, with nothing needing to go to a landfill.

Product Information

  • Fabrics are made from 100% recycled polyester, reducing landfill waste and petroleum demand.
  • Epoxy powder coating process is solvent-free, contains no harmful VOCs or lead, and reclaims up to 99% of oversprayed powder.
  • Entire panel is up to 82.3% recycled.
  • Masonite is up to 85% recycled.
  • Recycled wood for worksurfaces is up to 85% recycled.
  • Entire product line is up to 99.9% recyclable.

Components - Electrical
2+2 Configuration (8 wire, 4 circuit):

  • Two Utility Circuits (Compile #1 & #2 circuits) share one neutral wire and one (system) ground wire. (2 hot wires + 1 neutral wire + 1 green ground wire = 4 wires)
  • Two Dedicated Circuits (Compile ‘X’ & ‘B’ circuits) share one neutral wire and one (isolated) ground wire. (2 hot wires + 1 neutral wire + 1 green/yellow ground wire = 4 wires)
  • The ground wire differentiates ‘Utility’ and ‘Dedicated’ circuits.
  • Green ground wire is a “system” ground, which can be grounded to any metal, including the panel.
  • Green/Yellow ground wire is isolated within the wiring conduit back to the source box (building ground).
  • All neutral wires are 10 gauge (larger than normal 12 gauge), providing greater protection against noise or interference.

UL Recognized and CSA Certified
Warning: Installation of the electrical harness should be under the supervision of a licensed electrician and in accordance with applicable codes and regulations.
Special Note: Always ensure the harness is electrically connected to only one power supply.

  • B) CEBCP17: Flexible Mesh Jumper Cable (connects two panels side by side or separated by a post in a corner application)
  • C) CEBRD: Duplex Receptacle
  • D) CEBCI1: ‘T’ Connector
  • E) CEBCP: Pass-Through Cable (must run in a straight line application only)

Guidelines for Ordering Product
The product guide uses a numbering system with meaningful alphanumeric characters for easy understanding and accurate specifying.

How to Specify:

  • Specify Compile panel type and size by code.
  • Specify panel frame finish (e.g., DWT for Designer White).
  • Specify raceway power option.
  • Specify all necessary panel fabric options.

Basic Features of Compile Panels:

  • Panels can only be stacked one high.
  • Available in four heights: 30", 42", 54", 66"; seven widths: 24", 30", 36", 42", 48", 54", 60".
  • 2 3/8” thick.
  • Available in Monolithic and Single Segmented just below the worksurface.
  • Not tackable.
  • Raceway openings: 1.345" x 2.80".
  • Opposite sides of each module may have different fabric within the same grade at no upcharge. If different grades are used, the entire panel is priced at the higher grade.
  • Standard with aluminum frame.
  • Individual fabric-covered modules in an aluminum frame.
  • Aluminum raceway covers can be ordered separately for reconfigurations; they can be replaced in the field to change a panel from non-powered to powered (or vice versa).
  • On Compile Laminate and Gallery panels, wood grain laminate runs horizontally unless specified otherwise.
  • Base raceway lifts up and locks in a 90-degree position or can be removed for open access.
  • Electric knockouts in the raceway have plastic covers that snap into place from the outside when a duplex is not required; these covers must be specified separately.
  • 3 panel connector brackets per side for 30"h, 42"h, and 54"h panels come installed on panels and 60° and 90° posts.
  • 4 panel connector brackets per side for 66"h panels come installed on panels and 60° and 90° posts.
  • Panel connector brackets are opposite direction per panel side and can be removed with one screw per bracket.
  • CMFF and CMFM 66" and 72" panels must have fabric railroaded. Confirm at time of order if all panels or only those need fabric railroaded.

Delivery & Returns

RETURNS: All contract furniture is made to order and cannot be returned for a refund. Simplova may approve some items for return but will be subject to a restocking fee.

CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS: Orders that have been scheduled for production may not be changed. All changes including reconsignments to orders previously acknowledged must be requested in writing and are subject to approval. Requests for changes are not deemed accepted until confirmed by the manufacturer. In the event a revision is accepted, change fees may apply.

DELIVERIES BY COURIER/COMMON CARRIER & FREIGHT CLAIMS: The buyer, or buyer's representative, must be present at the time of delivery of the product to sign for and acknowledge correctness of the count and condition of the product being delivered. In the event of shortage or damage of product delivered by a common carrier other than Simplova, the Buyer will be required to file the appropriate claim with that carrier and will hold Simplova harmless from this claim.
