Its lightweight yet durable construction supports rapid reconfiguration and easy storage, with thousands of customizable finish combinations to match your space.

  • Materials: Reinforced polypropylene shell with 15% glass fill for strength and flexibility; MIG-welded steel frame with a durable powder coat.
  • Comfort: Soft polypropylene shell with subtle flex and high-resiliency foam (1.9–2.2 PCF) for long-lasting support.
  • Safety: Flame-retardant foam compliant with CA TB117-2013 and MVSS302.
  • Storage: Stacks up to 10 high on a dolly, or 6 high when left on the floor for efficient space management.
  • Configurations: Available in standard, midsize, bariatric, stools, and caster models to fit diverse user needs.
  • Options: Upholstered or poly shell designs with antibacterial fabric options; ANSI/BIFMA-certified for safety and reliability.

FEATURES

  • Stackable, highly customizable, and accommodates various user needs with three width options.

MATERIALS BREAKDOWN

FRAME

  • Mig-welded steel tube frames, free of crimping on all bends.
  • Standard size models: 5/8" (16mm) O.D. 13-gauge tube.
  • Midsize and Bariatric wide models: 3/4" (19mm) O.D. 12-gauge tube.
  • IRT shroud (100% recycled) on the underside of seat frame prevents imprints.

SEAT - POLYPROPYLENE

  • Standard Models: Single injection-molded piece, made of 15% glass-filled reinforced polypropylene.
  • Midsize & Bariatric Models: 9-ply, 5/8" (16mm) thick molded plywood.

SEAT - UPHOLSTERED

  • Over-molded shells with zippered cushion.
  • Can be upholstered in most fabric or vinyl.

FOAM

  • High-resiliency molded foam.
  • Standard chairs: Density of 1.9 PCF, 1-1/4" (32mm) thick seat, 3/4" (19mm) thick back.
  • Midsize and Bariatric chairs: Density of 2.2 PCF, same thickness as standard.

FLAME RETARDANTS

  • Foam meets Federal Motor Vehicle Standard MVSS302 and California Bulletin No. 117 (TB117-2013).

GLIDES

  • Clear polycarbonate glides, friction-fit to the frame, non-marking.
  • Standard models: 1.96" (50mm) non-hooded dual wheel casters.
  • Midsize models: 2-3/8" (60mm) non-hooded dual wheel casters.
  • Optional soft casters for hard floors: nylon with polyurethane tread.

ARM CONSTRUCTION

  • Cast aluminum arms, approximately 1-1/4" (32mm) wide.
  • Powder-coated.

DOLLY CONSTRUCTION

  • Seam-welded flash-controlled steel tubing, free of crimping.
  • Stretchers made from 1-1/2" angle bar, welded into position.
  • Two 3" swivel casters, two fixed, with lockable feature.

STACKING

Poly Shell Models:

  • Four-point: 6 high on floor, 10 high with dolly.
  • Casters: 4 high on floor.
  • Stools: Do not stack.

Upholstered Models:

  • Four-point, all sizes: 4 high on floor, no stacking with dolly.
  • Casters: 4 high on floor.
  • Stools: Do not stack.

CERTIFICATIONS

  • Standard models: ANSI/BIFMA X5.4 Public and Lounge Seating.
  • Midsize & Bariatric: ANSI/BIFMA X5.41-600-2021 Large Occupant Public and Lounge Seating.
  • Manufactured in ISO 9001 and 14001 certified facilities.

ON-SITE REPAIR AND REPLACEMENT

  • Field-replaceable parts: glides, bumpers, IRT shroud, and poly shell.

  • Extended lead time! Typically ships in  6+ weeks.
Delivery & Returns

RETURNS: All contract furniture is made to order and cannot be returned for a refund. Simplova may approve some items for return but will be subject to a restocking fee.

CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS: Orders that have been scheduled for production may not be changed. All changes including reconsignments to orders previously acknowledged must be requested in writing and are subject to approval. Requests for changes are not deemed accepted until confirmed by the manufacturer. In the event a revision is accepted, change fees may apply.

DELIVERIES BY COURIER/COMMON CARRIER & FREIGHT CLAIMS: The buyer, or buyer's representative, must be present at the time of delivery of the product to sign for and acknowledge correctness of the count and condition of the product being delivered. In the event of shortage or damage of product delivered by a common carrier other than Simplova, the Buyer will be required to file the appropriate claim with that carrier and will hold Simplova harmless from this claim.
