  • Laminates and veneers: Choose from 25+ standard laminates (Wilsonart, Nevamar, Formica) or opt for custom hardwood veneers with stain-to-match options.
  • Frame and stability: 14-gauge steel legs, welded cross-members, and leveling glides provide reliable stability over time.
  • Customization: Round or oval leg configurations; multiple edge finishes (PVC, bio-based, hardwood); power/data modules and an optional magazine shelf.
  • Standards: ANSI/BIFMA X5.5 certified for durability and safety.
  • Applications: Ideal for healthcare facilities, corporate reception, hospitality, and modern offices; serves as a coffee, console, or side table with configurable heights and dimensions.

BASE CONSTRUCTION

Post Legs:
  • 14 gauge seam-welded 1" steel tube.
Cross Members:
  • Welded "X" shaped cross members made of 1/4" solid steel rod, placed halfway up from the floor.
Top Frame:
  • 1" wide solid 3/16" thick steel surrounding the outside dimension of the top of the post legs.
Feet:
  • Finished with durable plastic glides.

TOP CONSTRUCTION

Table Top Core:
  • 1" Nu-Green 2, ULEF (Ultra Low Emission Formaldehyde) raw particleboard core.
  • Made with 100% pre-consumer recycled or recovered wood fiber.
  • Manufactured in an FSC Certified facility.
  • Density: 39 pounds per cu. ft.
High Pressure Laminate:
  • 1/16" high-pressure laminate sheet with plastic laminate backing.
  • Bonded with water-based glue.
  • Total top thickness: approximately 1-1/8".
Veneer:
  • 1/32" hand-laid flat cut veneer.
  • Bonded with water-based glue.
  • Total top thickness: approximately 1-1/16".
  • Veneers selected for grain matching and symmetry.

EDGE CONSTRUCTION

Self (SE):
  • Refer to manufacturer technical sheet for chosen laminate.
PVC (PVF, 2MM):
  • Made from PVC pellet material melted and extruded through die-head profiles.
  • PVF edges: tongue & groove flat profile.
  • 2MM edges: flat profile.
  • Available in 38 solid colors.
  • Applied to the table core using water-based glue.
Bio (2MM):
  • PVC-free, made with 88% bio-based resin blend.
  • Applied using a state-of-the-art edge banding process for a pick-proof edge.
  • Impact durability comparable to PVC without added chemicals.
  • Available in 38 solid colors.
  • Applied to the table core using water-based glue.
Hardwood:
  • Individually segmented, glued with water-based glues, and clamped for 100% surface coverage.
  • Machined and hand-planed to match tabletop thickness.
  • Corners are mitered, pencil radiused, sealed, stained, and lacquered.
Exposed Baltic Birch:
  • Constructed of Baltic Birch plywood (100% birch veneer sheets).
  • Available with high-pressure laminate tops only (total thickness: approximately 1-1/8").
  • Edge is routered for a uniform profile, then sealed, stained, and lacquered.

Delivery & Returns

RETURNS: All contract furniture is made to order and cannot be returned for a refund. Simplova may approve some items for return but will be subject to a restocking fee.

CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS: Orders that have been scheduled for production may not be changed. All changes including reconsignments to orders previously acknowledged must be requested in writing and are subject to approval. Requests for changes are not deemed accepted until confirmed by the manufacturer. In the event a revision is accepted, change fees may apply.

DELIVERIES BY COURIER/COMMON CARRIER & FREIGHT CLAIMS: The buyer, or buyer's representative, must be present at the time of delivery of the product to sign for and acknowledge correctness of the count and condition of the product being delivered. In the event of shortage or damage of product delivered by a common carrier other than Simplova, the Buyer will be required to file the appropriate claim with that carrier and will hold Simplova harmless from this claim.
