The Cooper Midland side tables deliver durable, sophisticated surfaces for patient lounges, waiting rooms, and modern workspaces. Available in square, rectangular, and round shapes, they pair premium tops with sturdy maple legs and replaceable glides to support everyday use in high-traffic environments.

  • Finishes: Customizable finishes—choose from 15+ standard laminates or select from Wilsonart, Formica, or Arborite at no extra cost.
  • Eco-friendly core: Eco-friendly NU Green core, made from 100% recycled wood fiber and ULEF-certified for low formaldehyde emissions.
  • Edges: Durable edge options include PVC, 2 mm bio-based, or hardwood edges in 38 colors to match existing furniture.
  • Durability and care: Stain-resistant surfaces, sturdy maple legs, and replaceable glides ensure long-lasting stability and a professional appearance.
  • Modular connectivity: Spacer and corner tables feature keyhole stretchers for secure attachment to seating in collaborative spaces.
  • Ideal environments: Suitable for patient lounges, waiting areas, or contemporary offices requiring reliable, aesthetically refined tables.

COOPER MIDLAND Specification Sheet

BASE CONSTRUCTION

  • All end and connecting wood frames are assembled from Maple.
  • The wood frame is mechanically fastened to a welded substructure.
  • The substructure uses a combination of 10 and 11 gauge brake-formed sheet metal parts to create the foundation for attaching suspension, support components, and frame subassemblies.

TOP CONSTRUCTION
TABLE TOP CORE - 1"

  • Material: Nu-Green 2, ULEF (Ultra Low Emission Formaldehyde) raw particleboard core.
  • Core composition: 100% pre-consumer recycled or recovered wood fiber.
  • Manufacturing: Produced in an FSC Certified facility.
  • Density: 39 pounds per cu. ft.

HIGH PRESSURE LAMINATE

  • Thickness: 1/16” high-pressure laminate sheet with plastic laminate backing.
  • Bonding: Water-based glue.
  • Total top thickness: Approximately 1-1/8”.

VENEER

  • Thickness: 1/32” hand-laid flat cut veneer.
  • Bonding: Water-based glue.
  • Total top thickness: Approximately 1-1/16”.
  • Features: Veneers are selected for grain matching and symmetry.

EDGE CONSTRUCTION
PVC

  • Materials: PVF and 2MM edges made from PVC pellet material, melted and extruded.
  • Profiles:
  • Colors: Available in 38 solid colors.
  • Application: Applied to the table core using water-based glue.

2MM BIO EDGE

  • Material: PVC-free, made with 88% bio-based resin blend.
  • Features:
  • Application: Adhered to the core and trimmed using advanced edge banding for a pick-proof finish.
  • Colors: Available in 38 solid colors.
  • Bonding: Water-based glue.

HARDWOOD EDGE

  • Construction: Individually segmented, glued with water-based glue, and clamped for full surface coverage.
  • Finishing: Machined, hand-planed to match tabletop thickness, mitered corners, pencil radiused, sealed, stained, and lacquered.

SPACER AND CORNER TABLES CONNECTING METHOD

  • Support: Table top is supported front and back by two metal stretchers with keyholes.
  • Attachment: Bolts on chair legs connect to keyholes, fastening the table to the chair.

Delivery & Returns

RETURNS: All contract furniture is made to order and cannot be returned for a refund. Simplova may approve some items for return but will be subject to a restocking fee.

CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS: Orders that have been scheduled for production may not be changed. All changes including reconsignments to orders previously acknowledged must be requested in writing and are subject to approval. Requests for changes are not deemed accepted until confirmed by the manufacturer. In the event a revision is accepted, change fees may apply.

DELIVERIES BY COURIER/COMMON CARRIER & FREIGHT CLAIMS: The buyer, or buyer's representative, must be present at the time of delivery of the product to sign for and acknowledge correctness of the count and condition of the product being delivered. In the event of shortage or damage of product delivered by a common carrier other than Simplova, the Buyer will be required to file the appropriate claim with that carrier and will hold Simplova harmless from this claim.
