Specifications

FRAME CONSTRUCTION

  • Material: Maple wood frames mechanically fastened to a welded substructure.
  • Substructure: Combination of 10 and 11 gauge brake-formed sheet metal parts.

SEAT AND BACK CONSTRUCTION

  • Seat Pan: 100% recycled plastic with upholstery covers over 3-inch thick hi-resiliency polyurethane molded foam.
  • Back Core: 3/4-inch thick, 7-ply laminated contoured plywood with Velcro-removable upholstery covers over 4-inch thick foam.
  • Foam: 25% sustainable plant-based substitute, density 3.0–3.2 PCF, meets MVSS302 and CA TB117-2013 flame retardant standards.

ARM CONSTRUCTION

  • Options: Molded self-skinned urethane arm caps (flat PF or rounded PR) over 1/8-inch steel plate, attached via metal-to-metal connections.

FEET CONSTRUCTION

  • Glides: Durable injection-molded plastic.

CASE CONSTRUCTION (FOR TABLES)

  • Material: Maple wood frames with welded substructure (10/11 gauge sheet metal).

TOP CONSTRUCTION

  • Core: 1" Nu-Green 2 ULEF particleboard (100% pre-consumer recycled wood fiber, FSC Certified, 39 lbs/cu ft density).
  • High-Pressure Laminate: 1/16" thickness, water-based glue, total thickness ~1-1/8".
  • Veneer: 1/32" hand-laid flat-cut, water-based glue, total thickness ~1-1/16".

EDGE CONSTRUCTION

  • PVC/PVF: 2MM flat or tongue & groove profiles, 38 color options, water-based glue.
  • 2MM Bio Edge: PVC-free, 88% bio-based resin, durable, 38 colors.
  • Hardwood: Segmented, glued, and hand-finished with water-based adhesives.

CONNECTING METHOD

  • Metal stretchers with keyholes attach table to chair legs via bolts.

RETURNS: All contract furniture is made to order and cannot be returned for a refund. Simplova may approve some items for return but will be subject to a restocking fee.

CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS: Orders that have been scheduled for production may not be changed. All changes including reconsignments to orders previously acknowledged must be requested in writing and are subject to approval. Requests for changes are not deemed accepted until confirmed by the manufacturer. In the event a revision is accepted, change fees may apply.

DELIVERIES BY COURIER/COMMON CARRIER & FREIGHT CLAIMS: The buyer, or buyer's representative, must be present at the time of delivery of the product to sign for and acknowledge correctness of the count and condition of the product being delivered. In the event of shortage or damage of product delivered by a common carrier other than Simplova, the Buyer will be required to file the appropriate claim with that carrier and will hold Simplova harmless from this claim.
