  • Premium materials: 25+ laminates or hand-laid veneer tops with stain-to-match customization.
  • Healthcare and hospitality ready: sturdy steel legs in any Spectone color with a NU Green core.
  • Eco-friendly edges: PVC-free 2MM Bio edges (88% bio-based resin).
  • Edge profiles: PVC flat, 2MM, hardwood, or self-edge.
  • Durable construction: 14-gauge oval steel tubing base with injection-molded glides.
  • Customization: 38 edge colors and 18 standard stains.

Ideal for waiting rooms, clinics, and upscale lounges, Calvin offers configurable finishes and durable performance designed for demanding environments.

MATERIALS BREAKDOWN

Base Construction

4PT Base:
  • Made of seam-welded, flash-controlled steel tubing.
  • Uses 14-gauge oval tube.
  • Legs are welded to table support brackets, which connect to the tabletop and wood side supports.

Top Construction

Laminate Top:
  • 1/16" high-pressure laminate sheet with plastic laminate backing.
  • Bonded with water-based glue.
  • Total thickness: ~1-1/8".
Veneer Top:
  • 1/32" hand-laid flat-cut veneer, bonded with water-based glue.
  • Total thickness: ~1-1/16".
  • Veneers selected for grain matching and symmetry.

Edge Construction

PVC Edges (PVF & 2MM):
  • Made from PVC pellet material, melted and extruded.
  • PVF edges: Tongue & groove flat profile.
  • 2MM edges: Flat profile.
  • Available in 38 solid colors.
  • Applied with water-based glue.
2MM Bio Edges (PVC-Free):
  • Made with 88% bio-based resin blend (eco-friendly).
  • Uses a state-of-the-art edge banding process for a pick-proof finish.
  • Matches the durability of PVC without added chemicals.
  • Available in 38 solid colors.
  • Applied with water-based glue.
Hardwood Edges:
  • Individually segmented, glued (water-based), and clamped for full coverage.
  • Machined and hand-planed to match tabletop thickness.
  • Corners are mitered, pencil-radiused, sealed, stained, and lacquered.

Delivery & Returns

RETURNS: All contract furniture is made to order and cannot be returned for a refund. Simplova may approve some items for return but will be subject to a restocking fee.

CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS: Orders that have been scheduled for production may not be changed. All changes including reconsignments to orders previously acknowledged must be requested in writing and are subject to approval. Requests for changes are not deemed accepted until confirmed by the manufacturer. In the event a revision is accepted, change fees may apply.

DELIVERIES BY COURIER/COMMON CARRIER & FREIGHT CLAIMS: The buyer, or buyer's representative, must be present at the time of delivery of the product to sign for and acknowledge correctness of the count and condition of the product being delivered. In the event of shortage or damage of product delivered by a common carrier other than Simplova, the Buyer will be required to file the appropriate claim with that carrier and will hold Simplova harmless from this claim.
