MATERIALS BREAKDOWN

FRAME CONSTRUCTION
  • FRAME: Constructed of seam-welded flash-controlled steel tubing, offered in 14 GA oval tube. Stretcher bars are welded to the frame to provide seat support. All connections are metal to metal.
SEAT AND BACK CONSTRUCTION
  • SEAT: The upholstered seat pan is made with 100% recycled plastic with upholstery covers form fitted and stapled over 3-inch thick hi-resiliency polyurethane molded foam.
  • BACK: The upholstered back is based on a 3/4-inch thick, 7-ply laminated contoured plywood core platform with VELCRO®-removable upholstery covers form fitted over 4-inch thick hi-resiliency polyurethane molded foam.
FOAM
  • Molded foam displaces 25% of non-renewable petroleum material with a sustainable plant-based substitute.
  • Density: 3.0 to 3.2 PCF with no changes to physical properties, comfort, or longevity.
FLAME RETARDANTS
  • Foam meets Federal Motor Vehicle Standard MVSS302 and California Bulletin No. 117 (TB117-2013).
ARM CONSTRUCTION
  • Wood or self-skinned urethane arms molded over a 1/8-inch thick steel flat plate, attached to the seat frame using metal-to-metal connections.
FEET CONSTRUCTION
  • GLIDES: Frame feet are finished with durable injection-molded plastic glides.
CERTIFICATIONS
  • ANSI/BIFMA X5.4 Public & Lounge Seating

Delivery & Returns

RETURNS: All contract furniture is made to order and cannot be returned for a refund. Simplova may approve some items for return but will be subject to a restocking fee.

CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS: Orders that have been scheduled for production may not be changed. All changes including reconsignments to orders previously acknowledged must be requested in writing and are subject to approval. Requests for changes are not deemed accepted until confirmed by the manufacturer. In the event a revision is accepted, change fees may apply.

DELIVERIES BY COURIER/COMMON CARRIER & FREIGHT CLAIMS: The buyer, or buyer's representative, must be present at the time of delivery of the product to sign for and acknowledge correctness of the count and condition of the product being delivered. In the event of shortage or damage of product delivered by a common carrier other than Simplova, the Buyer will be required to file the appropriate claim with that carrier and will hold Simplova harmless from this claim.
