Spec Furniture

The Bean Children’s Series combines a 12-inch stool with a 21-inch high table to create a durable, backless duo designed for kids’ rooms, preschools, daycare centers, and pediatric spaces. The backless design promotes active seating, sensory play, and movement, helping children develop balance and coordination during snack time, arts and crafts, or story time.

  • Stool height: 12 inches; table height: 21 inches; ergonomic setup for early learners
  • Weight capacity: up to 250 lbs, suitable for children and adults in shared spaces
  • Materials: 1" Nu-Green 2 ULEF particleboard core (ultra-low formaldehyde); 100% recycled wood fiber; FSC-certified manufacturing
  • Finishes: PVC edge colors in 38 Spectone options; steel frame colors in 76 Spectone options
  • Safety and longevity: non-toxic finish, sturdy construction, easy to clean; backless design supports movement
  • Applications: ideal for pediatric clinics, Montessori classrooms, playrooms, and waiting areas; blends with environments through matching lines Snowflake, Crayon, and Hardi

Frame Construction:
Legs:
  • Legs are one piece constructed on 3/16" thick sheet metal with no welds.
  • Legs are fastened to the inserts on the underside of the table with 1/4 -20 bolts.
Seat/Top Construction:
Seat/Top Laminate -
  • Constructed of 1" Nu-Green 2, ULEF (Ultra Low Emission Formaldehyde) raw particleboard core, covered and bonded with a water-based glue to a 1/16" high-pressure plastic laminate sheet on top and a plastic laminate backing sheet below for a sandwich top thickness of approximately 1-1/8".
  • The core is made using 100% pre-consumer recycled or recovered wood fiber, and is manufactured inside a FSC Certified manufacturing
    facility.
  • The top density is 39 pounds per sq. in.
  • The top edge is routed to accept our PVC molding (PVF) to match or accent the top, and further bonded in place with a water-based white glue.

Delivery & Returns

RETURNS: All contract furniture is made to order and cannot be returned for a refund. Simplova may approve some items for return but will be subject to a restocking fee.

CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS: Orders that have been scheduled for production may not be changed. All changes including reconsignments to orders previously acknowledged must be requested in writing and are subject to approval. Requests for changes are not deemed accepted until confirmed by the manufacturer. In the event a revision is accepted, change fees may apply.

DELIVERIES BY COURIER/COMMON CARRIER & FREIGHT CLAIMS: The buyer, or buyer's representative, must be present at the time of delivery of the product to sign for and acknowledge correctness of the count and condition of the product being delivered. In the event of shortage or damage of product delivered by a common carrier other than Simplova, the Buyer will be required to file the appropriate claim with that carrier and will hold Simplova harmless from this claim.
