Frame Construction:
  • The frames are made from fully welded 14-gauge steel.
  • The build does not allow for connected configurations.
Seat and Back Construction:
Seat -
  • The upholstered seat pan is made with 100% recycled plastic, topped with high‐resiliency molded foam (see Foam).
  • All upholstered edges are concealed by final assembly.
  • Seats can be easily detached as needed by way of four tamper proof bolts (per seat) underneath the frame.
Seat, Bariatric -
  • A 0.75” thick plywood structure, topped with high-resilience polyurethane slab foam. (see Foam).
  • Foam is fully enclosed within the upholstery and all upholstered edges are concealed by final assembly.
  • Seats can be easily detached as needed by way of four tamper proof bolts (per seat) underneath the frame.
Back -
  • The upholstered back is made with 100% recycled plastic, which is covered by high‐resiliency molded foam (see Foam) to create comfortable upper back and lumbar support.
  • Foam is fully enclosed within the upholstery and all upholstered edges are concealed by final assembly.
  • 11-gauge steel sides are assembled onto the plastic molded back to provide heavy duty back strength between the steel seat pan and back connection, ensuring longevity and stability of the product.
  • Backs can be easily detached as needed by way of seven tamper proof bolts (per back) through the frame.
Back, Bariatric -
  • CNC cut plywood panels create a structural box for the back, topped with high‐resiliency polyurethane slab foam (see Foam).
  • Foam is fully enclosed within the upholstery and all upholstered edges are concealed by final assembly.
  • Backs can be easily detached as needed by way of seven tamper proof bolts (per back) underneath the frame.
Foam:
  • Foam is formulated to displace 25% of the existing non‐renewable petroleum material with a sustainable plant-based substitute without changing the physical properties, comfort, and longevity of the foam.
  • The molded foam performs as regular based cut foam and provides a density of 4.2 PCF while the slab cut foam provides a density of 1.8 PCF.
  • High‐resiliency polyurethane slab foam is formulated displacing 25% of the existing non-renewable petroleum material with a sustainable plant-based substitute.
Feet Construction:
Metal Foot -
  • 3/8” aluminum bar attached with tamperproof bolts.
Glides -
  • Aluminum feet are finished with non-removable 1 1/8" steel levelers with a 1/4-20 threaded bolt.
Arm Construction:
Arms, HD -
  • Arms are constructed of plywood covered in high‐resilience polyurethane slab foam (see Foam).
  • Foam is fully enclosed within the upholstery and all upholstered edges are concealed by final assembly.
  • Arms can be easily detached as needed by way of six tamper proof bolts (per-arm) underneath the frame.

Delivery & Returns

RETURNS: All contract furniture is made to order and cannot be returned for a refund. Simplova may approve some items for return but will be subject to a restocking fee.

CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS: Orders that have been scheduled for production may not be changed. All changes including reconsignments to orders previously acknowledged must be requested in writing and are subject to approval. Requests for changes are not deemed accepted until confirmed by the manufacturer. In the event a revision is accepted, change fees may apply.

DELIVERIES BY COURIER/COMMON CARRIER & FREIGHT CLAIMS: The buyer, or buyer's representative, must be present at the time of delivery of the product to sign for and acknowledge correctness of the count and condition of the product being delivered. In the event of shortage or damage of product delivered by a common carrier other than Simplova, the Buyer will be required to file the appropriate claim with that carrier and will hold Simplova harmless from this claim.
