Spec Furniture

Acute | Customizable Conference & Training Table combines durability and adaptability for modern workspaces. The 14-gauge seam-welded steel bases and high-density ULEF-certified particleboard cores deliver lasting stability in busy conference rooms, healthcare facilities, offices, and collaborative spaces. A 45-degree downward foot cut contributes to a clean, contemporary silhouette and cable management potential.

Top options include laminate or veneer finishes from Wilsonart, Nevamar, Formica, Arborite, and Pionite, all at no extra charge. Choose from 15+ laminate colors, 9+ wood stains, and 76 Spectone base colors to coordinate with your décor. Available base designs (TA, T2A, XA, X4A) and multiple sizes support precise configuration.

  • Healthcare and office ready: easy-to-clean surfaces, stain-resistant edges, and optional casters for quick reconfiguration.
  • Functional add-ons: Flip6 flip-top mechanisms, height-adjustable bases, power/data modules, and soft or hard casters.
  • Eco-conscious: FSC-certified materials, recycled wood fibers, and low-emission finishes.

Certified ANSI/BIFMA X5.5 compliant, Acute Tables are designed to endure heavy use while delivering a professional, adaptable solution for conferences, training sessions, and patient-care settings.

BASE CONSTRUCTION

  • Models: TA, T2A, XA, X4A
  • Material: 14 gauge seam-welded steel tube
  • Mounting Plates: Solid, fully welded; sizes: 9"x9" or 12"x12" (depending on table size)

  • Feet: 1.5" diameter with angled ends, finished with leveling glides
  • Welding: Fully welded inside for smooth exterior appearance

TOP CONSTRUCTION

Table Top Core (1"):
  • Material: Nu-Green 2, ULEF (Ultra Low Emission Formaldehyde) raw particleboard
  • Composition: 100% pre-consumer recycled or recovered wood fiber
  • Manufacturing: FSC Certified facility
  • Density: 39 pounds per cu. ft.
High Pressure Laminate:
  • Thickness: 1/16" with plastic laminate backing
  • Bonding: Water-based glue
  • Total Top Thickness: Approximately 1-1/8"
Veneer:
  • Thickness: 1/32" hand laid up flat cut veneer
  • Bonding: Water-based glue
  • Grain Matching: Carefully selected for symmetry
  • Total Top Thickness: Approximately 1-1/16"

EDGE CONSTRUCTION

Self (SE):

PVC (PVF, 2MM):

  • Material: PVC pellet, melted and extruded
  • Profiles: PVF (tongue & groove flat), 2MM (flat)
  • Colors: 38 solid options

  • Material: PVC-free, 88% bio-based resin blend
  • Features: "State-of-the-art" edge banding for durability, pick-proof

Hardwood:

Delivery & Returns

RETURNS: All contract furniture is made to order and cannot be returned for a refund. Simplova may approve some items for return but will be subject to a restocking fee.

CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS: Orders that have been scheduled for production may not be changed. All changes including reconsignments to orders previously acknowledged must be requested in writing and are subject to approval. Requests for changes are not deemed accepted until confirmed by the manufacturer. In the event a revision is accepted, change fees may apply.

DELIVERIES BY COURIER/COMMON CARRIER & FREIGHT CLAIMS: The buyer, or buyer's representative, must be present at the time of delivery of the product to sign for and acknowledge correctness of the count and condition of the product being delivered. In the event of shortage or damage of product delivered by a common carrier other than Simplova, the Buyer will be required to file the appropriate claim with that carrier and will hold Simplova harmless from this claim.
